Synopsis
A 1941 short story by Robert A.W. Lowndes in which a professor fascinated by the occult finds his students charging headlong into danger after a strange new member of the class is challenged to prove that hypnotism really works. The story introduces the tome Song of Yste, and the monsters Adumbrali and Seekers, and name-drops a few tomes including the Necronomicon.
