The Magus is a real book that made an appearance in the scenario The Auction.
Description
Published in London in 1801 by occultist Francis Barrett, this is a compilation and collation of material of many ancient and medieval magicians. Its publication had an enormous influence on occultists of the time and led to a renaissance in occult thought and literature.
