- SS___ (Two Tentacles: Barely Lovecraftian; could be a very loose adaptation)
Not very "Lovecraftian", but there is a freakish god-monster-thing, a secret cult of nuns imprisoning it, a decrepit fishing village full of degenerate villagers, some sort of tome, a magic amulet or seal, and other elements that might be right at home in a Lovecraft story or pastiche, and the film does successfully ooze menace and atmosphere.
