Synopsis
Spoiler Section (Highlight to Read)
Archaeologist Sir Richard Lesley-Smith has died a strange and horrible death while cataloging the discoveries from his last expedition. Then others associated with him start dying, these deaths seem to be accidents but the cause is a rare intelligent version of the scarab beetle that was concealed in a mummy discovered by the expedition but only released when it was autopsied.

Comments
- The expedition that led to the discovery of the mummy was sponsored by New World Incorporated.
Keeper Comments
Comments to Keepers about this scenario; Possibly how to run it successfully. Keep general DISCUSSION on the talk page.
- Details of just where the scenario is set are deliberately kept vague (The default appears to be London in the 1920s) to give Keepers maximum flexibility in using the scenario. One page of the scenario is given up to notes on converting the scenario for different eras and the creatures encountered.
