In a press release in January, 2009 Adam Scott Glancy announced that Pagan Publishing planned to produce a number of books in a series called "Horrors of War". This series intends to present "Call of Cthulhu scenarios set against the backdrop of wars from across time and around the globe."
The first book in this line, was initially to be called "Horrors of War" is described as "a sourcebook and scenario anthology set during the Great War (1914-1918). Biplanes and Byahkee!". It was described as containing nine scenarios.
Pagan announced the possibility that one of the scenarios initially planned for this book, The Last Flight of the L58 (Scenario), may be released independently ahead of the release of the rest of the book (and may not be included in the book itself). According to the Unspeakable Oath Podcast #3, this may be bundled with The Night Mission, another scenario from this book.
A successful Kickstarter was held in August 2014 to have the book, now entitled "A Covenant with Death", published. The target publication date was February, 2015.
Based on convention run scenarios and Kickstarter description the contents may include: Dig for Victory, The Iron Devil, The Last Flight of the L58 (Scenario), The Night Mission, The Shadows of Leuven, and Uboote Heraus
