Tentacle Ratings

A rough measure of how "Lovecraftian" the work is:

  • SS___ (Two Tentacles: Barely Lovecraftian; could be a very loose adaptation)

Based on the trailer, this seems to use the American Gothic corrupt-small-town-with-a-secret theme (one of Lovecraft's favorites), and refers to Night Gaunts and other Lovecraftian creations. Apparently a "meteorite" has fallen into a local lake (shades of "Colour Out of Space (fiction)?)

Note: This rating is not intended as a measure of quality, merely of how closely related to Lovecraftian "Weird" fiction the work is.
