The vampiric parasitic fetus which was spawned in the sea and must return there can be considered a Deep One. Beyond the fishy tentacle-monster, there's not really much "Lovecraftian" about this film, which, in basic plot, tone, intent, and atmosphere, really plays out more like a primitive slasher (like Blood Feast) than anything else.

- Y.Whateley: This is not a subtle film: expect buckets of blood to be splashed everywhere at the drop of a hat, and there's not much in the way of a plot, character development, or message in this nasty little film (beyond, perhaps, "men, pregnancy, and babies are evil and woman are not very bright"). Beyond the fishy tentacle-monster, there's not really much "Lovecraftian" about this film, which, in basic plot, tone, intent, and atmosphere, really plays out more like a primitive slasher (like Blood Feast) than anything else. Still, the baby monster did look kind of cool once it finally made its appearance at the end of the film, and the movie is full of nightmarish stuff alongside some unintentionally funny moments, and it really feels too short and fast-paced to wear out its welcome, so it's perhaps worth seeing at least once for bad movie fans, as long as they can stomach copious amounts of fake gore and tasteless subject matter.
Synopsis

BABY BLOOD: A snake-like parasite crawls into the uterus of an abused woman and circus performer, Yanka, where it demands human blood from its (at first) reluctant host, who eventually finds that the only relationship she has is with the parasite. Yanka commits murders to devour the victims' blood in order to nurture the parasite, who tells her that it is a creature that will replace man as the dominant species on the planet in five million years, and must be released in the ocean. The creature is eventually released in the sea where it abandons Yanka. LADY BLOOD: Yanka is a mother and a chief of police. She’s a fulfilled woman, in love with her husband and happy with her daughter and mother-in-law. Everything’s going great until a strange occurrence disturbs her new life. With the help of her psychiatrist husband, she tries to convince herself that it’s just a nightmare.
