Mythos-Themed: This category includes miniatures games and miniatures game expansions featuring the Cthulhu Mythos. This category does not include games that contain a mention of the Cthulhu Mythos but are not generally Mythos-themed. (Yes, Illuminati has "The Servants of Cthulhu." No, that doesn't make it a Mythos-themed game.)

Miniatures: Miniatures games are typically a form of tactical wargame, where players use miniature figures on a tableau (often made by the players) to enact a battle, using published rules to dictate abilities of units and determine the outcome of the battle. Sometimes the game has its own line of miniatures, while other times players are expected to use independently produced miniatures. Some games, like Cthulhu Wars, do use miniatures but don't fit the overall definition of miniatures games being used here.

This category includes rules for miniatures, and not the miniatures themselves or any other accessories, although those items may be mentioned on the game's page.
