The Investigators travel down the Miskatonic River to the west of Arkham to the small down of Coldwater Falls where a madman has been captured by the local law enforcement after he was discovered with the shinbone of a missing local girl in his teeth while he padded around town on all fours in a peculiar canine way. His delusion is complete and with the small town demanding justice for the murdered girl, the Investigators have to unravel the mystery of what lead to the poor girl's fate.
The scenario has multiple possible entry points to the story so a creative Keeper could draw almost any group of characters into the game. There are elements of psychology, law enforcement, news reporting, and medicine that could all draw characters into the game.
The scenario is long enough to most likely span 2 or 3 evenings of play.
