Though a very short humorous parody produced on a bare-bones budget, the content of this vignette is surprisingly faithful to Lovecraft's work, though the plot itself is more of a parody of a generic Lovecraft pastiche (someone in a magic class at Miskatonic University reads from the ''Necronomicon'' and comedy ensues). "Lovecraft" appears in the perhaps mean-spirited form of an annoying but enthusiastic student with a severe speech impediment, alongside "Bloch" and "Derleth". The vignette is mostly disposable, though the professor's dramatic reading of the ''Necronomicon'' is fun and might make a nice sample for a Lovecraftian song. (The eerie [[Richard Matheson]] story from the same episode, "Big Surprise", is worth checking out, too.)
