A team of investigators travels to the historical city of Texcoco, Mexico to study a recently unearthed stela appearing to be Aztec in origin.

===Synopsis===
The stela is part of an ancient site dedicated to the Aztec goddess Coatlicue, whose location is now used to worship [[Shub-Niggurath]]. The cult leader is Conchita Moreno, the beautiful assistant of Dr. Carlos Calderón, the team contact in Mexico. Her greatest ally is Emilio Herrera, construction businessman, who is a secret worshipper of Nyarlathotep. The cult plans to perform a "Ritual of Ribirth", where Conchita will be transformed in a [[Gof'nn Hupadgh Shub-Niggurath]], or Blessed of Shub-Niggurath.
