"All of them have a secret, all of them are ''LOST''. Everything happens for a reason." The survivors of Oceanic Flight 815 were 1,000 miles off course when they crashed on a lush, mysterious island. Each person possesses a shocking secret, but they've got nothing on the island itself, which harbors a monstrous security system, a series of underground bunkers and a group of violent survivalists hidden in the shadows.

Really, from what I saw of the first four seasons years ago, there was not a lot going on in this series in the average episode that could be directly called "Lovecraftian", but there were at least hints of occasional sub-plots involving alternate dimensions, human manipulation by alien intelligences in the form of clouds of black smoke, cyclopean ruins, conspiracies by secret organizations, hints of an Atlantean lost civilization, and that sort of thing which might provide some fuel for some sort of weird "lost world" Call of Cthulhu campaign.
