"From the best-selling master of darkness...." This show-within-a-show is one part a parody of 80's horror television and one part soap opera. Set at Darkplace Hospital, fictional horror author/actor/director/producer Garth Marenghi plays Dr. Dagless, who carries a gun and tries to solve supernatural medical mysteries, with the help of his doctor side-kicks and the hospital administrator, portrayed woodenly by Garth's shady literary agent.
