The scenario begins with convicted murderer Douglass White being led to his execution chamber. The players take the roles of prison staff and witnesses. But when the switch is thrown of the electric chair, strange events are set in motion.

===Synopsis===
The adventure begins with the characters taking place in the execution of Douglas White on April 18, 1960 in the Ohio State Penitentiary. Douglas white is a bad man, although the true extents of his evil remain largely unknown. In the 1920s White was known by his real name, Harold West, and he worked in the prison infirmary at the very same prison. Beneath the West Cellblock, West used to experiment with the dead and nearly dead, using electricity to attempt to reanimate. This life all came to an end with the infamous (real-world) fire of 1930 which destroyed much of the prison and left 322 prisoners dead in their cells.

When the switch is thrown on the electric chair, some mystical electrical phenomenon occurs which propels the characters into the past. They awake in cells. The year is 1930 and from their knowledge of the future, they know that in three days the prison will burn ...

The character of Harold West (aka Douglass White) is based on H.P. Lovecraft's [[Herbert West]].

This adventure is presented very much as a tournament sceanario, with suggestions for props being provided with each scene.

The scenario includes seven pre-generated characters who are assumed to be the Investigators (for this tournament round).
