Not especially Lovecraftian, especially if taken as a subtextual parable about an immature, sensitive and unstable young woman coming to terms with an unwanted pregnancy or whatever the film was aiming for, but there is perhaps some potential Gothic or "cosmic" material in there if you take the film at its face value as the story of a young woman who finds herself attached to a mysterious, child-like monster that follows her home from a rave and which nobody else (at first) seems to be able to see.
