There's really not much plot beyond that - the movie (apparently cobbled together from three related short films) starts with an introduction involving a cryptozoological "monster hunt" for a lake monster that leads to the film crew getting hired to film the main cosmic horror story about an abandoned town, before concluding with an extended showcase for gore effects. Light on plot and resolution, but it might fit the bill for anyone looking for a low-budget, gory, "Lovecraftian", found-footage creature-feature that might not commonly appear on lists of "Lovecraftian" horror films.<br />
