The Cemetery caters to the more affluent dead of Arkham. All bodies there are embalmed. During the 1903 typhoid epidemic Christchurch Cemetery was over burdened, and many burials were delayed. One notable burial during this period was the venerable doctor [[Allan Halsey]].
