It is described as having all the facilities of a town that size, including a College and the County Asylum. A major land feature is Bakers Mountain which lies on the eastern side of the city, with the main rail yard lying on the western side of town. The primary industry is related to coal mining.

Note: The town is fictional. There is a suburb of Pittsburgh of the same name.
