"The Caribbean:  over 3000 islands of paradise; for some it's a blessing, for others it's a curse!"  This fantasy film series follows the weird adventures of eccentric pirate Captain Jack Sparrow and his friends as they travel to strange places and fight undead pirates, tentacle-monsters, ghost ships, cursed treasures, and sea-demons including Davy Jones himself.  As of 2018 there were 5 films made for the series, a sixth planned, countless multi-media tie-in products/spinoffs/etc. added to the franchise, and a reboot under discussion.
