==Summary==
The events of the scenario concern "Sticky Jack" Fulton, a wayward cat burglar, who the investigators, criminal enforcers, are sent after by their boss, Mordecai "the Hammer" O'Leary, one of [[Danny O'Bannion]]'s lieutenants responsible for the [[Arkham]] Campus District, to collect Jack's outstanding dues, tribute paid to O'Leary for working the area in the crimes Jack has recently committed.  Two weeks ago Jack was privately hired to undertake a job: stealing three peculiar items to order during the course of a single night. Smith said he would pay Jack handsomely for the items but requested that the job be kept secret even from Jack's boss; as Smith
was paying well, Jack agreed to the terms, hoping that O'Leary would be none the wiser.  Unfortunately, Jack's crime has unwittingly opened the door to a disaster that threatens the life and sanity of Jack and everyone who comes in contact with him!

Setting:  Set in 1922, for up to six players; with each player investigator coming from a criminal background. Nominally, the action takes place in Arkham; however, the location could easily be moved to any other large sized town or medium sized city of the Keeper’s choosing.

Special Notes:  While there are a number of potential combat encounters, the Keeper has the power to control such scenes in order to limit the danger to the investigators. It should be noted that the final scene can inflict dramatically large sanity losses and Keepers may wish to limit these if this scenario is being used as part of a campaign. However, if you intend to play Missed Dues as a one shot game with the pre-generated investigators, then feel free to let the dice fall where they may.

Sequel Plot Hooks:  The scenario is self-contained and does not require the Keeper to have a copy of [[H.P. Lovecraft's Arkham]] by Chaosium, although use of this supplement may be advantageous.
