You are one of the Great Old Ones beings of ancient and eldritch power. This game is modeled after the game ''Monopoly'', although they are not officially connected.

This game generated quite a bit of bad publicity after its' successful Kickstarter campain was "cancelled" without producing anything or refunding pledges. After quite a bit of drama, ''The Doom That Came to Atlantic City'' was published by [[Cryptozoic Entertainment]], and subsequently [[Renegade Game Studios]]. Anyone interested in finding out more should start with the "Links" section and do their research from there.

Not to be confused with [[Necronomonopoly]] or [[Monopoly: Cthulhu]], other Cthulhu Mythos-themed variations on Monopoly.
