*Very well. I suggest a section on the main page- these subjects are likely to be heavily used; I know that I will use them a lot when planning for my gaming sessions. I have always liked the evocative titles given in the D20 Call of Cthulhu rules when they broke up the Mythos for consideration when writing a scenario. I believe they were Mysterious Places, Forbidden Tomes, things like that. When I get home, I'll look them up, and add them to the bottom of the main page, and start making entries. **My original concept with this was to set in place a method of organization, something that the majority of Wikis use (and this one does not), called [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Help:Category Categories]. If we categorize sections, it helps formulate an index. As you suggested, a Category for home-brew pages is an excellent idea, but using the name "Myth" seems a little conflictive with "Mythos". **I agree that "Myth" isn't the greatest. But you don't understand what I am trying to do. It's not home-brew pages, it's a lexicon/encyclopedia of Mythos people, places, and things, hyperlinked together. An encyclopedia of Mythos authors, publications and artists has it's uses, but it won't help me run a Call of Cthulhu game. A hyperlinked and growing wiki in the same vein as Harm's excellent "Encyclopedia Cthulhiana" would be very useful. That is what I am trying to get started. Delta Green was created by Adam Scott Glancy, Dennis Detwiller, and John Tynes of Seattle gaming house [[Pagan Publishing]]. Set in the modern day, characters are members of a renegade secret United States government organization – itself named Delta Green – dedicated to combating the horrors of the [[Cthulhu Mythos]]. I think Joshi's name is being bandied about in a way I think he wouldn't be entirely comfortable with.

In the biography, Joshi is rather scathing about the term 'Cthulhu mythos'. I don't think the 'Lovecraft mythos' reference is too contentious, but I think Joshi would contrast this with the 'Delerth mythos'. I think any considerations of 'pantheons' and suchlike belong more strongly in the Delerth camp, rather than anything that should be attributed to Lovecraft himself.

I'd like to propose moving the 'Delerth involvement' a bit further up the page and getting said discussion out of the way, before launching into discussions of the Cthulhu mythos. We should also think about making the distinction between the mythos in fiction (a bit of a vague concept) and the mythos in the game (a much more concrete, codified thing). --[[User:Theshoveller|Theshoveller]] 15:13, 17 January 2006 (EST)
