S'glhuo
S'glhuo appears in Ramsey Campbells; "The Plain of Sound" and is another dimension that only exists in our dimension as sound. In certain places, such as the plain in the Severn Valley, the dimension overlaps into our own, creating the effect of walking through jelly. Sounds from our world correspond to objects in S'glhuo, and sounds in our world can create things both living and non-living in S'glhuo. The location in the Severn Valley corresponds to a city of pillars on a planet composed of sound. It is implied there are other planets made of sound in S'glhuo and that the dimension is home to Tru'Nembra, an Outer God made from pure sound. In S'glhuo, our dimension is only perceptible as odour. Details on S'glhuo are given in the Revelations of Glaaki, along with a plans for a machine to contact the S'ghluoans.

Inhabitants
It is not known if the blue skinned reptilians that live near the Severn Valley are the only type of S'glhoans, but it is likely that the dimension is home to other life forms. The denizens of S'glhuo may be friendly or hostile, but seem to have knowledge of both advanced science and the Mythos. In their own world they are blue skinned, tall, boneless reptiods, but in ours they are beings of pure sound.

I know there are some suspected languages such as Tcho Tcho and Deep One but I'm not sure about either of those - perphaps Deep One is an extremely currupted version of the R'lyeh Glyphs?
Pnakotic and Yithian?
Are these two languages the same thing? Does Pnakotic refer to the Yithian hieroglyphs and Yithian to the spoken language?

That is rather confusing, The Keepers Companion calls the Elder Thing Cipher Pnakotic so I classed it here as such. If you think you should be changed to Yithian then I'll add another one for the Elder Things language.

I don't know, it just seems a little odd that the Elder Things would have a language that's associated with something about the Yithians. But if the book says so then I guess it's right.

Atlach-Nacha is a spider-like god from the works of Clark Ashton Smith. In "The Seven Geases", the monster is shown bridging a vast chasm with its web, somewhere beneath Mount Voormihadreth in Hyperborea. What will happen when Atlach-Nacha finishes his bridge of web is not known, although it is said it will cause ,or contribute, to the end of the world.

In appearance Atlach-Nacha looks like a huge hairy spider, with an oddly human face. Its expression is said to be one of both doubt and enquiry. Atlach-Nacha is worshipped in the Andaman Islands, by the Spiders of Leng and by the Tcho-Tcho of South Asia. What the worshippers gain from this worship is unknown, as Atlach-Nacha hates to leave its web, even for a moment. It may not even care whether it is worshipped or not.
Mnar is a land that exists in the Dreamlands, although it is possible it also may have existed in the Middle East at one time. The Beings of Ib had their city established in the lands of Mnar. The people of Sarnath destroyed the race and their city and cast their bodie into a lake. That night of conquest had been celebrated ever since, with the spoils of war including an altar of Chyrsalite depicting the god Bokrug, the Water Lizard. During one of these celebrations, the high priest of Sarnath was found dead, with DOOM scawled on the altar.

The city of Sarnath came to dominate Mnar, establishing a large kingdom. Mnar had many victorys, both political and military, and became a great power. On a celebration of the destruction of Ib, all the nobles of Mnar and beyond travelled to Sarnath to celebrate. After the city was indeed destroyed by the ressurrected Beings of Ib, all the lands of Mnar turned to worship of Bokrug.

It is likely they are related to the Bholes that dwell in the Dreamlands, in the Vale of Pnath. Their most documented appearance is in the HP Lovecraft stroy, "Through the Gates of the Silver Key." In that story, the Dholes are shown living on the world of Yaddith and slowly eating the planet away through tunelling. They are highly carnivorous, and despite the magical and technological skill of the native Yaddithans, they were forced to abandon the planet to the Dholes after hundreds of years of fighting them. It is implied that the Dholes follow the Yaddithans wherever they go, though that seems unlikely. No Dholes are known to exist on Earth, as they would surely cause the slow death of the planet.

The beings called Dholes are a race of incredibly huge worm creatures. Little is known about these creatures, not even their planet of origin. It is likely they are related to the Bholes that dwell in the Dreamlands.
