The Inhabitants of L'gy'hx are a relatively peaceful and curious species of cuboid, many-legged metal beings, about half the height of a human being, which dwelt on the world of Uranus (L'gy'hx); they worshiped a strange bat-like god called Lrogg. None are known to exist on Earth, but it's possible that some accompanied, or will accompany, the Shan as slaves on expeditions to Earth.
