Description
Its Brothers who will come down from the mountains ravening for ecstasy when it calls to them. Chaugnar and its Brothers converse by means of thought-transference.
— Frank Belknap Long, "The Horror from the Hills (fiction)"
The Brothers of Chaugnar Faugn are like smaller versions of their lord, Chaugnar Faugn: strange, bloated creatures that combine the worst parts of humans, toads, and octopi, capable of long periods of motionlessness and made of an unknown, seemingly stony element which gives the creatures the appearances of grotesque statues until they awaken to feed by drinking blood from victims using their trunk-like proboscis. The creatures are generally only found in their lord's cavern monastery high up in the Pyrenees mountains, in the company of Chaugnar Faugn and his ghastly servants, the toad-like Miri Nigri and the cannibal Tcho-Tcho People.
